2025–2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
INTRAMURAL TRANSFER, DOUBLE MAJOR, MINOR, INTER-INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFER (DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL)
AND TRANSFERS BASED ON CENTRAL PLACEMENT SCORES
Our university will accept applications for Intra-Institutional Horizontal Transfer, Double Major, Minor, Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer (Domestic and International) and Horizontal Transfer Based on Central Placement Scores for the 2025-2026 academic year will be accepted from August 1 to 15, 2025.
Students applying to departments within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences must submit their applications online through the automated system at https://gecisbasvurusistemi.yildiz.edu.tr/. (The student bears full responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate statements made during the application process. For grade conversions, the conversion tables established by the Higher Education Executive Board will be used.)
Students applying to faculties or departments other than those within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences must submit their applications in person to the dean’s office of the faculty where the program with available spots is located.
2025-2026 Academic Year: Intra-Institutional Horizontal Transfer, Double Major, Minor, Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer (Domestic and International) Quotas* (*) Horizontal Transfer Quotas Based on Central Placement Scores: For each class—including the preparatory class—of each degree program, up to 30% of the student quota specified in the Student Selection and Placement System Guidelines is allocated, provided that this number does not exceed 90 students during the fall semester. If an applicant applies through the DGS, a quota equal to 30% of the quota specified in the relevant exam’s guidelines is allocated.

Scores, Rankings, and Percentile Ranges (Highest–Lowest) of Candidates Admitted to YTÜ Undergraduate Programs via LYS-YKS (2005–2024) (To be used for MYP-Annex 1 applications and for those who do not qualify for the top 20% but meet all other application requirements and apply for the Dual Degree Program.)
- Scores of Students Admitted to YTÜ Undergraduate Programs via DGS (Highest–Lowest) (2006–2024) (To be used for MYP-Annex 1 applications.)
- Lowest DGS (2008–2024) and LYS–YKS (2012–2024) Scores (To be used in applications for Double Major (ÇAP) in Engineering, Architecture, and Teacher Education programs, and for intra-institutional lateral transfer applications for all programs.)

(*) Students who submit all required documents in full and as specified during the application process are not required to submit any additional documents during registration (except for the application form, the statement confirming no impediments to transfer under Addendum 1, and course syllabi). Registration will take place at the relevant faculty deans’ offices on the dates specified in the academic calendar, either in person or through individuals to whom students have granted a notarized power of attorney.
(**) Click here for the YÖK letter stating that the document certifying the absence of any impediments to lateral transfer—which universities previously required at the time of application—should instead be requested from students who have had their lateral transfer applications accepted and wish to register.

NOTE: Course syllabi will not be provided with wet signatures to students wishing to take courses in our University’s summer school during the 2024–2025 academic year or to students who will apply for lateral transfers to other higher education institutions during the 2025–2026 academic year. Affected students will be able to access all course syllabi via our University’s Bologna Website.
