Our students may file an appeal regarding the honor roll lists by sending an email to ytuderece@yildiz.edu.tr by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Appeals submitted after this date will not be considered.

The following criteria were taken into account in determining which undergraduate students qualified for honors:

  1. Graduating from undergraduate programs after four years (8 semesters) based on the GPA calculated at the end of the spring semester final exams (including internships),

  2. Completing the Foreign Language Preparatory Program by the end of the fall semester, beginning undergraduate studies in the spring semester, and graduating within four years (a maximum of 9 semesters),

  3. Ensuring that all internship information entries for required internships and grade entries for the internship course in the curriculum are completed no later than the final day for entering grades for the spring semester final exams.

For students who meet the conditions listed above

(1) A ranking based on the weighted cumulative GPA is determined for the top three positions, and this ranking is calculated solely at the department level.

(2) For dual-major students to be included in the ranking, they must have taken at least 120 ECTS credits from courses in the dual-major program’s curriculum that are not shared with or counted toward their primary major. The evaluation is conducted by the faculty where the student is enrolled in the dual-major program.

(3) No ranking is conducted for students enrolled in Minor and Graduate programs.

(4) Students eligible for graduation based on the GPA calculated at the end of the spring semester final exams (including internships) are ranked to determine the top graduates.

(5) When determining the ranking, graduates from both the Fall and Spring semesters of the relevant academic year are evaluated together.

(6) No ranking is conducted for students who take the make-up exam following the final exam used to determine the academic ranking.

(7) Students who have received disciplinary penalties (excluding reprimands) are not included in the academic ranking.

(8) Students who qualify for a rank through the merit ranking and share the same weighted cumulative GPA shall share the same rank.

(9) Grades for courses taken at another higher education institution during the relevant semester, make-up exam grades, or grades earned through exchange programs, etc., must be entered into the automated system by the relevant Faculty no later than the deadline for entering final exam grades for the Spring semester, following approval by the relevant Faculty Board of Administration. Any changes resulting from late entry of grades will not be considered.

(10) Any changes resulting from late grade entry due to a material error or an inadvertent grade change for the semester in which the ranking is determined will not be considered.
