AND TRANSFERS BASED ON CENTRAL PLACEMENT SCORES
Our university will accept applications for Intra-Institutional Horizontal Transfer, Double Major, Minor, Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer (Domestic and International) and Horizontal Transfer Based on Central Placement Scores for the 2026-2027 academic year will be accepted online via the Transfer Application System from August 1 to 15, 2026.

Quotas for Intra-Institutional Horizontal Transfer, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Horizontal Transfer (Domestic and International) for the 2026–2027 Academic Year* (*) Quotas for Horizontal Transfers Based on Central Placement Scores: For each class—including the preparatory class—of every degree program, up to 30% of the student quota specified in the Student Selection and Placement System Guides is allocated, provided that this number does not exceed 90 students during the fall semester. If the applicant applies via the DGS, a quota equal to 30% of the quota specified in the relevant exam guidelines is allocated.

Scores, Rankings, and Percentile Ranges (Highest–Lowest) of Students Admitted to YTÜ Undergraduate Programs via LYS-YKS (2005–2025) (To be used for MYP-Annex 1 applications and for those who do not qualify for the top 20% but meet all other application requirements and apply for the Dual Degree Program.)
Scores of Students Admitted to YTÜ Undergraduate Programs via DGS (Highest–Lowest) (2006–2025) (To be used for MYP-Annex 1 applications.)
Lowest DGS (2008–2025) and LYS–YKS (2012–2025) Scores (To be used in applications for Double Major (ÇAP) in Engineering, Architecture, and Teacher Education programs, and for intra-institutional lateral transfer applications for all programs.)

Registration
Enrollment will take place at the relevant faculty deans’ offices on the dates specified in the academic calendar, either in person or through individuals authorized by students via a notarized power of attorney.
Students who have earned the right to final registration must submit the final registration form—which they will download from the system for the program they have been admitted to—along with all documents listed on the form during the registration process. Registration will not be processed if any documents are missing.
Addendum 1: Students Eligible to Re-enroll
Under Addendum 1, students wishing to exercise their right to return to our University must apply in person to the dean’s office of the faculty from which they were previously withdrawn between August 1 and 15, 2026. Click here for the application and registration form.
Click here for the YÖK letter stating that the document certifying there are no obstacles to lateral transfer—which is required by universities—should be requested not at the time of application but from students who wish to enroll after their lateral transfer applications have been accepted.
NOTE: Course syllabi will not be provided with wet signatures to students wishing to take courses in our University’s summer school during the 2025–2026 academic year, nor to students who will apply for lateral transfer to other higher education institutions during the 2026–2027 academic year. Affected students will be able to access all course syllabi through our University’s Bologna Website.
